Martin Lyons - Executive Vice President
Marty began his surety career at Seaboard Surety Company after graduating from St. Francis College in Brooklyn, NY. From Seaboard, Marty moved to AIG and then to Vice President of Surety at Willis of New York, at that time the world’s largest surety broker. Most recently Marty was President of Centaur Insurance Services, a surety bond specialty agency in Long Island.
Marty joins Avalon in 2022 with 37 year of surety experience including his designation by the Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) and the New York City School Construction Authority (SCA) as the consultant in charge of placement for their MWDBE Mentor Programs. Marty will be located in Hicksville, NY.
